Yes, I know I haven’t been blogging lately. It’s because I’ve been working insane hours for the last three weeks on the Michigan project. It’s due this Wednesday and it has to be solid since it’ll be out of state. The great thing is that I figured out the major problem I was dealing with for the last two days. This means that tomorrow and Tuesday should be regular eight hour days for me. I think I can actually go for a run tomorrow. Don’t think I’ll last that long but whatever. I’m going to do it.
I have been shooting quite a bit with my new lens, the Sigma 10-20mm. I have a bunch of photos that I haven’t uploaded yet. I already have some up on Flickr that I love. With all my overtime this month, I might be buying the 50mm 1.4 this week to replace my 50mm 1.8.

For those who follow my twitter feed, you may have noticed that I have been working on an Adobe AIR application at work. It is my first time developing an AIR app and for the most part has been a fun learning experience. However, this project has a very hard deadline on Wednesday and I still have a lot of code to write to finish. I will likely continue working long hours everyday until then. I just finished a thirteen hour day today. I should have no problems completing it. There’s no real obstacle left, just a lot of code I need to write up.

I’ve been complain about my day all over the internet. I was stuck at work all day today. My whole Sunday was blown. I was going to catch up with some writing. That didn’t happen. I spent the whole day doing mid-level Flash development and graphics work. It was partially tedious. It’s ok though. The site turned out to be pretty sweet.
After this weekend, I think I’m going to make this coming week a productive one. I don’t care who I have to push down to do it. Hope all of you had a good weekend.

I’ve only left California three days ago and this afternoon, I’m going back. Only this time, instead of San Diego, I’m going to San Francisco. San Diego was fun and interesting, but I don’t know anyone there. San Francisco has Mai, my best friend, so I’m looking forward to it. I’m going to visit her next month for her fashion show, but it’s great that I get to see her early. Also cool, I will again be setting up the Mac Mini media stations at the Moscone Center. I’ve been to San Francisco three times and I’ve never seen it. I’m going to try and refrain from doing any Steve Jobs impressions while I’m there. I’ll limit myself from saying “BOOM” to ten times. This time I am a little sad that I’ll only be there for two and a half days.

It’s a little gloomy today in San Diego. I’m sitting in my room overlooking downtown and the convention center. I’m can’t go anywhere right now because I’m downloading the new animations that I need for the Mac Mini media manager that I’m working on. I’m sure I’m also slowing down the office’s connection too cause we’re on DSL over there. Every time that we have someone download off our server, our connection slows down. I haven’t been down to the convention center yet. I just spoke with my contact there and he says there’s no internet access so I have to download everything first before heading over there.
I have some photos I took from my hotel room up on my Flickr right now. I was going to walk around with my camera after work today. So look for some more photos tonight. I don’t have my laptop with me so I’m already missing Lightroom and MarsEdit. I’m writing this with WordPress’ editor right now and it’s just not as good.

I’m all packed and ready to go to San Diego tomorrow. I’ll be bringing my camera with me and hopefully taking some cool city photos on Friday. I guess it depends on when I get off. Ideally, I should be done by early afternoon. I won’t have my laptop with me. I’ll have my company laptop (17″ MacBook Pro). I may not be able to upload any photos until I get back Saturday. We’ll see.
I will definitely be twittering, probably more than normal. My twitter name is @javajunky. Follow me, if you don’t already. If you’re not on twitter, sign up. It’s awesome!
Again, if anyone knows of a good coffeehouse or restaurant I should try, please leave me a comment. I want to go where the locals go. Don’t really care for the touristy places. I’m staying by the convention center on Harbor Drive and won’t have a car. So anything within walking distance is awesome!
