Apparently the iPod Touch has been showing up in stores across the US. People have been posting unboxing shots already. I think Mr. Jobs deliberately had his package design department put Corrine on the box art. He knew that she’s like Kryptonite to me. I need to check out Apple store tomorrow to see if I can get a look at this thing in person.

Steve Jobs gave another disappointing keynote today. The iPod Touch was announced. It’s everything I asked for except for the whole flash memory thing. What can I do with a mere 16GB? I’m going to have to do some number crunching to see if it’s feasible. I doubt it. Why have the last four Apple keynotes been so much of a let down. So much to think about.

As everyone knows by now, Apple is going to have their big event on September 5th. Everyone has their predictions. ThinkSecret seems pretty sure about what will go down. I think I’m just believing what I want to believe. All I want is a widescreen iPod with a touchscreen, OS X and a hard drive. No flash drives! 16GB is just not enough for me. I want to be able to stuff a good 40-60GB of music, plus 5 or 6 movies and photos. On top of all that, I want to be able to fill up with video podcasts. I can finally watch the two hottest podcasters, Morgan Webb and Lindsay Campbell, on my lunch break or wherever I want.

Finally, the day I’ve been waiting for is almost here. The Macworld Conference & Expo Keynote is less than ten hours away. Everyone has a wishlist of what they want Apple to announce. Here are my top three items:
- Wireless widescreen iPod (who doesn’t have this on their list?)
- “Applephone”
- iTV
I guess the iPod is really the only one that really matters on my list. I really need to replace my iRiver. As soon as Apple releases it, I’m placing my order. I guess I’ll just cross my fingers.
