I have been working on the icon design for the app I’ve been developing on my free time. It’s definitely a labor of love. I will talk about it more when I am closer to releasing it. It is an app that scratches one of my own itches, but I think there will be a lot of people who will find it useful too. The copy on this is just placeholder. This is maybe 60% done. I have a lot more details that I want to put into it before I will call it complete. I really want this to be pixel perfect.

I have been working on a new design for a web app I have been building. I am very excited about this project. I silently launched it a couple weeks ago, but I’m not going to announce it publicly until my new design is complete. Stay tuned.

I’m in the process of reorganizing things here. I have been trying to post regularly again. I already have a few topics in mind. I added my post tags right above the post content now. They are easy to see and click on. I am also trimming down my categories. I have many useless ones that really should be tags instead. That is mostly what I am fixing up for now so that I can get back into my writing zone. I have plans to do a full redesign in the near future. More on that later.

My new set of moo minicards arrived today. I’m really happy with the how they turned out. Go here to check them out. If you have moo cards and would like to trade, add a note on top of the specific card you wish to trade for and I will hold it for you. First come, first served. I have about five of each up for trading. I love moo.com.

I love Crumpler. That’s not really a secret. I have a Six Million Dollar Home for my camera and a Parts and Parcel for my MacBook Pro. They make excellent bags which are beautifully designed and superbly functional. Recently, Crumpler launched a complete redesign of their site. It’s a full Flash site that is centered around the Crumpler store. The store is visually represented as an old vending machine. There are a bunch of things to play around with and discover. It’s a complete opposite of their last design which was very silly.
