I decided to create some higher resolution wallpapers of my Code Panda drawing since the old ones were a bit small for newer devices like the iPhone’s retina display, the iPad and the recent Android phones. I created one for each of those mentioned. I’m leaving the old ones available for download too.
I just started a new tumblr account called Whoa, Pandas! It’ll just be a tumblr with my panda drawings. Nothing revolutionary here. Just thought it’d be fun. Feel free to follow if you have you’re on tumblr. You can also follow my main account, Wasted Thoughts.
I have been drawing a lot on my new Wacom Intuos4. Last night I drew my usual panda character coding on his MacBook Pro. You can view the final painting on my Flickr. I also created iPhone and Android wallpapers out of it for myself since I have a G1 and a iPod Touch. I had people ask for them for their phones so I decide I will have them here to download.

I am considering doing more wallpapers if there is an interest. Let me know in the comments.
Update (Oct 14, 2011): I added higher resolution versions in a new post.
I just found out today that my photo got accepted into the Fine Arts exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair this year. I have to thank my friends for supporting me, but the one I have to thank the most is my Liz. She is the one I made this photo for. She is the one that inspires me. If you are in the MN area at the end of the month, come check out the Fair if you can. If you haven’t been to the MN State Fair, you really should. It’s the second biggest one in the US.

I am once again showing at the Saint Paul Art Crawl this year. I will be displaying a small selection of my photography on Friday April 24, 6-10 pm and Sat April 25, 12-8 pm at the Lowertown Loft (studio 506). I will not be showing on Sunday, though the Art Crawl does continue on that day. Please come by to support me and the other artist displaying if you can.

My new set of moo minicards arrived today. I’m really happy with the how they turned out. Go here to check them out. If you have moo cards and would like to trade, add a note on top of the specific card you wish to trade for and I will hold it for you. First come, first served. I have about five of each up for trading. I love moo.com.
