Finally, the day I’ve been waiting for is almost here. The Macworld Conference & Expo Keynote is less than ten hours away. Everyone has a wishlist of what they want Apple to announce. Here are my top three items:
- Wireless widescreen iPod (who doesn’t have this on their list?)
- “Applephone”
- iTV
I guess the iPod is really the only one that really matters on my list. I really need to replace my iRiver. As soon as Apple releases it, I’m placing my order. I guess I’ll just cross my fingers.

Before I start, I just want to state for the record, Mai was right, I was wrong.
Now that I’ve made my peace, I shall continue. Happy New Year everyone! It’s late and I should sleep, so naturally I’m writing a post. But it is not for no reason though. I just had dinner tonight with Mai before her 9:30 flight back to San Fran. I think she’ll be landing any minute now. We were joined by one of our mutual friends. We ate at Kum Gang San, a Korean restaurant, in St. Paul. With half an hour to kill, we walked over to Ginkgo Coffeehouse. I haven’t been there in many years. Anyway, that’s when I saw a concert flyer on the door for this musician, Emily White. I noticed it in the middle of a fake argument with Mai, which I lost, I think. Since I’m always looking for new music, I committed her website to memory and checked it out about an hour ago. I’ve only heard the two songs that she has posted on her website for download. I’m getting a little bit of the Tegan and Sara vibe from her and it’s got me interested. I’m considering checking out her performance on the 27th. I grabbed the two songs off her site and plopped it into my iRiver. I’ll decide after I hear her a few times over.
So that’s my first push for a musician this year. Go check out her out.
